The very one. And as far as I knew the last of the new '08s being sold at dealers. On delivery day I noticed they put a white '09 in the same spot where my car used to sit.

Will be sunny this weekend! Tho unfortunately I have too much stuff to do at home and in the yard... No time to take the F out for a rip...

I was there to try make a deal but obviously I offered less than you did, or the car would be sitting in my garage and not yours.

Haha! I'm glad to hear that! The first day I went to look at the car some old douche with an unzipped jacket was leaning his head in the window and his jacket zipper dangling and almost hitting the paint... I was inwardly cursing at him, "Get the FUDGE away from MAH car!!" lol...

I was surprised this would be the last new '08... I thought this color combo would have been desirable. I know they did have a white on black Series 1 that sold a week before mine. The other option at the time was a 1 year demo'd Silver on black in Richmond... had the ML package but 3000km penalty and 1 year less warranty... They weren't willing to budge from their posted price anyways so I told them, "see ya!"... It's probably still there now...

So what did you end up getting? (If any)

I like SGM best, my wife likes SP best, but we both thought Alpine white interior would get dirty easily as we don't baby our cars. Probably a big reason why I wasn't seriously bidding for your car just 2 weeks ago. Glad it worked out for you. Congrats! Hey are you willing to tell me roughly (PM me if you prefer) how much you got it for, so that I have a local reference amount?

I'm still not a Lexus owner yet. Thought the economy was bad and I had more time to negotiate. I saw a white F w/ the 'D' demo plates 2 weeks ago around English Bay, right after I left Regency, so that's probably a 09 then. I might buy a used IS350 in the mean time for fun, until I find the right F at the right price. Then my wife gets the 350.

And yup I test drove the 08 MM F in Rmd as well. I didn't realize you won't get the full 4 yr warranty if you buy demo. I don't mind the color combo but I definitely wouldn't buy it at tag price either.
