From the videos, Joe Z + Sikky is much louder than Borla + Sikky. Both sound good! Nice video comparison too, thanks.

I've cut away part of the diffuser, but there is an intermittent rubbing, so intermittent that I can live with it.

Good luck with your new setup my friend:thumb up:

Oh, and BTW, I lived in Hernden for a couple of years before I moved to Arizona. I could spit to the Sterling border from my house.

Lou,

That's kinda funny. We must have traded places since I moved to Herndon from Tucson, AZ back in 2002.

I got the exhaust taken care of yesterday. I had the shop take a look yesterday with success. Apparently during install they didn't tap the slip fit in far enough after the resonator on the driver side. A few taps and about a half inch later it pulled the muffler away from the diffuser even with the passenger side. I'm very impressed with how well the exhaust fits the car, but as a warning to others.. a slip fit design should only be installed on a lift if you don't want to beat yourself later.

So definitely no jack stands? My problem is I don't know how I'll get the stock exhaust home after I get a dual put on. I guess I'll have it done at a shop near a u rent storage place and store it after install.

Anyhow thanks for the thread!

Default New record best on the Dynojet Today!

Same Dynojet that I've been going to and it's known for being stingy on numbers, but I finally reached my goal of 400+whp today!

Full Thread here

I've updated my overlay to include my current setup. Keep in mind that temps, engine mileage, dyno conditions, etc are variables that the dyno correction can't always account for, but the graph will give folks the big picture, just don't judge it too closely. For instance the stock graph has a dip in the upper rpms. I'm sure this is a result of the heat and the engine pulling timing. Also the difference between the JoeZ exhaust and Borla with headers is most likely nearly identical if the conditions were the same.

Wow. Nice gains on the Borla. Sorry if I missed this, but on the Borla, is that a single resonator that's 2in/2out? Or is that just an enclosure with two separate pipes inside?

Does this mean the Borla produces more than the JoeZ?

NO, it certainly does not..

For further explanation as to why comparing Dyno's over a year old doesn't work, please read here:

MachV Dyno day results for 3 IS-F's

Or

Carefully read all of James' posts and dyno charts within this very same thread..

Regards,

~ Joe Z

Will the PPE headers yield similar results?

PPE headers will probably yield similar results as SIKKY headers.
