Not exactly an equal match but good vid nevertheless. The ZR1 is a beast.

The douche driving the Z06 is the worst driver of all time and the top end freeway runs are better for showing the true power comparisons because there is no driving skill involved......you just smash your gas pedal after the third honk of the horn and shift just before red line. Z06 is faster..........end of story!

Goood luck going past 6psi, with that Compression Ratio.

and how does 6psi = 180 RWHP.

Add the cost of rebuilt internals, and we're talking 30k, easy.!.

That vid really says nothing, and besides the ZO6 in this vid is a limited edition 4 cylinder ZO6 that has production of 1 car and this guy seemed to have been the lucky guy who got it.

Out of the hole the GTR is faster, and it should be with AWD and launch control. But top end, the Zed will pull away for sure.

IMO, I would get the GTR for strictly tracking b/c it is such an easy car to do so. You may as well buy the GTR, and put 15k into that instead of the ISF and it would be untouchable. Tune+exhaust+RE30's/tires and maybe some weight reduction, the car would be an absolute monster. Even with the Artisan kit, the ISF still would not match the GTR in the curves only on straights. You would have to spend more, probably much more, to match the AWD GTR in the corners.

So for 60,000 STILL less then the GTR STOCK, you will have a 600+hp monster that you can go get grocery's with and still rip it up at a track, with still 10,000 left to spend on wheels, suspension or other mods... IS-F is the way to go in my opinion
Unless you are the guy with the Artisan TT who just ran 14.+ quarter mile in the other Artisan TT thread.
