Should I paint my brake calipers red?

I've never done this, but I wanted to pass along a bit of advice that the engineers at Brembo gave me. The advised me to NEVER powdercoat a Brembo caliper (they themselves don't powdercoat their calipers, they paint them). Brembo calipers are not designed to be rebuilt, and the extreme heat that the powdercoating process requires could damage the components of the caliper, negatively affecting both its functionality and durability. Just an FYI for you guys considering this...

not feeling red on the obsidian paint scheme...........but Porsche GT2 yellow? Shiznit
Probably going to be my first mod besides intake/exhaust. There is a nice little DIY thread about this being done.........I think the guy put the brembo stickers on backwards, but it turned out sick nonetheless! GL and keep us posted with pics!

Red color will rock with your obsidian. Nothing better than to make those big ISF brakes stand out more and still look genuine! Go for it and post pic after you complete.

if you are asking a shop to do it, please please make sure after they put on the stickers, they put couple layers of clear coat on top!!!!! otherwise your stickers will be gone in no time
