I remember when I had my Evo with the vortex generator, I used double sided 3M tape and it worked great, I drove my Evo HARD and never had an issue with the VG. I think that 3M tape is more than enough.
I'm another one who doesn't like the rear roof spoiler, so I'm with you 8speed.

thats how i did on my evo as well. It looks good on evo but not on the F IMO.

Here's are pics --- i got it from ebay from race designs for $40, plus $20 shipping, and $150 for paint.... so far i like it

AFTER PICS (20% tints, roof spoiler)
check out neighbor's pimp AMG, he has a Z06 also
i know, stupid parking permit - but i get free underground, security with camera, garage parking with it
