LOL - my thoughts exactly! In fact, I think you can complement the black roof of your car by adding CF hood, trunk, and fenders.

I have to stand with those here who aren't feeling it. Personally, I like the look of CF and panoramic roofs (I think the ES models with them look amazing), but I wouldn't use paint on a Lexus to get that effect. While I don't own one (my fun-mobile is an M6 convertible), I think the IS-F is a particularly fantastic car that already has all the bells and whistles. To each his own but, to me, painting the IS-F's roof black is like drawing a moustache on the Mona Lisa.

Psuedo-Black roof seems to be the "it" thing these days...Some cars pull it off well while others do not...Like others have mentioned, the idea takes away from the design of the car rather than add to it...

But overall, I dont think it looks bad on the F..

I didn't even think about carbon fiber for a multitude of reasons. First being that it is used for weight savings and having a carbon roof surrounding a sunroof is a complete oxymoron to me. It makes absolutely no sense. I also wouldn't know the first place to begin to help customize a one-off carbon roof. That's not even taking cost into consideration. Not worth it. BMW did it right offering it from the factory. As an aftermarket piece on the ISF w/a sunroof it would be just, well, out of place IMO.
