there's not many mods so you will be a little disapointed on that end. but the car itself is the best lexus ever made.

Congrats, IS-Fly168....I also came from Infiniti (G-35's and M-45) which I loved -- but our Lex's are a cut above for sure.....
Enjoy.

Hi Guys, Just picked up my brand new 08 Is-F today, got rid of my 08 G37s. Gonna post picts up soon. Time to mod my new car. lol

----------

Congrat on your new IS F! I got my IS F in Dec-2008 for $50k. The MSRP was $61k and the dealer wanted me to pay $56k. I firmly and politely said $50k and showed him my check book. I could not believe they sold it to me for $50k! Right now the IS F collects about 4200 miles. I have 3 cars and don't drive the F as daily commute.

I did go to M3 and C63 dealers and don't like the idea of paying for gas guzzler tax (GGT). Talking about mileage my IS F got 24MPG! HWY(some members here got 28MPG?). My first choice was the CTS-V but it never showed up at the dealer until after I bought the F. When 09 CTS-V did showed up the GGT on it was $2600 and change.

I glad I got my F (it my second Lexus) for $11k less and don't have to pay for GGT. So far so good. I've not had any problem.\

I must admit I have two radar detectors. A ValentineOne (V1) and an STi-Driver from https://www.beltronics.com/store/sti-driver.html

I prefer the STi-Driver performance (longer range and less false alarm) over the V1

Enjoy your F!

matta of fact they're coming out with aftermarket parts for is-f (expensive as hell)
my neighbor has an is-f and he bought an aftermarket exhaust system for 1,500(Dont know the Brand) and an intake for 400(Dont know the Brand) runs hard and a polyurethane front lip for 500 but thats in Florida i don't know about other states

All I want is an intake, lower, and a front lip. Oh yeah, also want to bypass the dvd thingy so my kid can watch dvd while the cars moving.

has the G37 a total of 8 months. there were numerous reasons why I got rid of it, I really like the way it looks, and I knew there a were a few pros and cons on the car. I knew the trunk was small but didnt know it was so freekin small that My baby stroller wouldn't fit in it. LOL 2nd reason was, I realized the value of the car was dropping like a rock.
The car stickered for $44,020 I purchased it for invoice at $39,300. Just curiosity, I asked around to see how much it was worth trading in, Every freekin dealer gave me $30-$31K for it. Dude, my G was 100% perfect with only 3600 miles on it and I already lost $8000+ !!!! I didnt want to keep this car anymore longer, dont want to hear the dealer offering me $22,000 for it in another 6months. So I picked up an Is-F, especially when I found out there were a few brand new 08 leftovers for $10k+ off sticker price. So I found someone to take over my G and picked up my Is-F yesterday for $12k off sticker price.
