Default 5 axis S5:F Tire Size Help

I did search around a bit...no answer.

I'm looking to order tires today, I have 5 Axis S5:F 19x9.5 with a 35mm offset. I was wondering if a 285x30x19 Invo will fit without rubbing. Thanks

Here is my set up...

Five Axis S5:F Gunmetal with Yokohama Advan Sport Tires
  • Front 19x8.5 30mm offset - 235/35

  • Rear 19x9.5 35mm offset - 265/30

The rear tires rub the inner fender lip ever so slightly on heavy rear suspension compression.
On stock ride height at the moment.. But still very Fush!!!
I plan to shave my rear fenders just a bit so once I drop it, there will be NO Rubbing..

I am certain the 285/30 will rub like crazy in the rear..
Your Rear fenders will need shaving for sure..

So if I shave the fender lips I should be good to go?

Why can I get 285's on my old IS350 and have issues with the F?

I'm not an expert, but I think the 285/30 tire will stick out over the exterior fender edge with this 19x9.5 35mm Five Axis wheel ...

Plus, "i think" the rear end & axles push the IS-F wheels Outward, just a tad bit more than an IS350.

LOL, Joe, I don't think I can really visualize what your setup looks like. Could you post some more pictures??

I'm going to do a bit more looking around before I order tires 265 is a waste for me... I'm looking at 275/285's. I talked to a guy that had 295 PS2's and no rub. Something has to give

Can I ask why you want to go so wide? Are you running 12" wide wheels or something?

I'm going with the 9.5 but I'd like the widest tire I can get under the rear as I can...285 is a nice middle ground I like.

Would the 19x8.5 +30 rub up front with Joe Z's tire sizes rub on an IS350?
