LOL, they've been top dog for years and it's hard to accept another ride can be even close to theirs.
I'm sure they're just a little envious of our ride, just not too anxious to admit it.
Their ride is a good one, and I'm sure if the truth is known, they'd admit the same for ours.

Rare to see older BMWs still on the road...SOME of them have lots of problems. My uncle had a 2007 7-series and he said it's an excellent car with lots of power, but it had all sorts of weird electrical problems....(driving, all of a sudden the cd player would start spitting out all your cds then the stereo wont power on anymore until you turn the car off, and turn it back on. Dealer replaces the stereo and then the amp goes out. Amp is replaced then the stereo goes out again, just weird stuff).
BMW i think is on its 4th generation M3...which means yeah, they should build a superior car, they've been doing this for A LONG TIME! However, they didn't build a SUPERIOR car, they just built a car that is "slightly" better, however, slightly better in many categories...I would love to see what a 2nd generation F car will bring.....
But in the mean time, i love my IS F

just remebered a drag race I had with friend with e92 m3 MT >>> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mIt-Ko_bPlA p.s. race from 0km/h was with little delay of myself when there was missunderstood of start time (after starting, I relesed gas pedel and then pushed it again)
p.s. M3 is without katalysator and I think with sport air filter..
at the same night with 335i e92 with V2.. >>> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b8TiJ...eature=related
p.p.s. those MT drivers hate starting from 0 km/h

I had the opportunity to race a new M3 the other day on the freeway. I beat him by a half a car length from 60-100. He kept accelerating to about 120, which I didn't not want to as I did not feel comfortable/safe with traffic. I would say that the cars are fairly evenly matched, but the Lexus interior blows away the M3. Not to mention, I don't have to deal with BMtroubleU's reliability problems. :P
