I ran the K&N drop in oiled filter and my mileage drop quite a bit not to mention that my idle was getting rougher every week. I yanked it and cleaned the MAF and my car feels like new... but that's just my experience, I think others have had good experiences?

Hmm I dont have any problems with mine and I have driven about 300km on the intake and no MAF problems here. Also still getting good mileage on mine. Also an update on my damage. I got a estimate of 3371.00 cad worth of damage. full fender replacement, front bumper fixed and painted, side skirt flare repainted, replaced clips and color blended into the door, and wheel refinished. Alot of work but it wasnt too bad.

And what about these filters oil screwing with the MAF sensor? (People who used the informal drop-in filter complained of that)

Cheers

the intake costed me 360. I installed it myself with a friend. And no there is nothing wrong with my MAF sensor after install. The drop in filter seemed to have problems but the full intake system change alone has no problems. Drove about 190miles on it already.

Wow, $360 is a great price for a filter like this. Good to see that you are not having any problems.

Wow... K&N claims a 28 HP gain with this intake. Would like to see the dyno results from the OP.
