Hi, I am interested in getting the Weathertech ventvisors but dont know if the rubber starts acting funny with these slip in channel ventvisors. Im not interested in paying $400 for oem jdm ones from Japan, but at the sametime dont want the $25 from ebay either.

I can vouch for WeatherTech. I did business with them in the past and also have purchased many different products from them. They are out of Downers Grove IL. The quality of these is just as good as the OEM. Its a different "look" is what it boils down to. I think the OEM looks better but I don't care for these on cars so I wouldn't get either. If someone was a smoker I could see these WeatherTech being more functional then the OEM as they come out further but I don't smoke so just assuming.

Yeah, you guys see how it lifts the rubber a bit in the picture? Im just wondering over time, will it cause the rubber to permanently distort or since its lifted will the seal not be as good and cause wind noise? I actually had one of these fly out of the window channel on the highway on a 89 civic hb. I do like the oem but at $400+ its a bit too pricey for plastic visors. I believe that weathertech visors are top notch stuff too otherwise I wouldn't be asking about them.

+1 on WeatherTech.
As for them flying out..really if they are installed good I dont see either of your options giving you any troubles. I think I had these on my X-wife's CRV about 10 years ago and I never had any problems. I think I also had the bug guard on the hood (or whatever its called) with no problems.
