Default Alternative to Rear Diffuser

So I've been looking at all the lip kits on the market, and I haven't really seen a rear diffuser that I really like. The ventross one is growing on me, but the pricing is off the charts. So I was wondering if anyone has considered painting or wrapping the bottom part of the rear bumper for a more aggressive look without having to add a diffuser? The only F I've seen that has done this is on the Artisan IS-F, and I think it looks really good. What do you guys think?

I actually thought about doing that while painting my roof. I still may do it, but yes the rear diffuser costs are redonk. I think it would look good.

I think the Artisan IS-F has a painted rear bumper, that's it. I'd love to have a rear diffuser on my car, and if any company ever produce the attached drawing, I'd be all over it, no matter how expensive it could be... oh well, maybe I'll have a $$$ limit.

Here is that other TT Blue IS-F...

The rear bumper bottom was either painted flat/matte black or its vinyl..

The CF rear diffuser from VIP is still the sickest, and reasonably priced as well

The Wald spoiler and diffuser are the sickest looking pieces available IMO. Great pics!

The last one makes me want to change my lipstick because I just puked in my mouth!

Is it out? Is it the one from the drawing that I posted above? Is there any real picture? What's the price?

WHOA...glad I saw this thread!

I was 99% sure to buy the WALD piece and then just saw the VIP version - same question, is this piece available, where to buy and how much?

I agree that last one from Branew looks puke ugly - just because you do something different does not mean it looks good and this is one of those sad examples. I feel sorry for the owner of that car sporting the Branew piece ~ yuck!

1) No, no & no.... (its what we call a "concept drawing")

2) Although we value your opinion. To each his own...

I think the Branew Kit looks fantastic in person.. and I’m sure all the members that mod their own cars in here, Do Not mod to other peoples tastes and/or liking..

Thanks for posting all the options Joe Z.. The WALD one is wild, but IMO you need a pretty aggressive setup on the whole car to pull it off.

I'm really leaning towards this option now. I think it looks good for a more conservative setup:

Agreed.. I'm leaning that way myself too.

Try it with Vinyl first... If you like it then you can get it painted down the line...
