Default Small damage - cost to fix?

So i'm sitting at a light when WAMM! A 19 year old driver thought traffic was moving and she rolled into me. I don't know her speed but it seems bad as my car shook alot. I guess the bumpers work for the 5 mph real life test I experienced.

Thankfully the damage on the outside is minimal. There are 3 spots on my bumper from her front tag hitting me.

Does anyone know how a body shop would fix this? Fill or replace the bumper? I've considered leaving it alone, but even small scratches bug me. One of the spots is deep enough to pop a dime into it.

The other driver is paying i'm just wondering. I'm going to my local dealer this afternoon to get an estimate.

If that’s all the damage right there and everything is still perfectly aligned..

.. A good paint shop will charge approx $500-$750 to repair & paint that bumper..

Good thing is was a light hit and your all OK!!

Thanks Joe. Hopefully this afternoon when I get the estimate done they can tell me more. I looked to ensure the bumper alignment is good. No other paint was scratched on the seams.

Thankfully all involved are ok.

Gosh my car needs a bath...the dirt on my bumper is so bad I can use my finger to write "WASH ME"

It's a $60k car and since her insurance is paying, I'd be pushing hard for a replacement bumper.

i think those prices are about right...

on a side note, i use a civic to go into nyc and was rear ended by a police officer! cost over $600 to replace the bumper (yeah, that bad). the city hasn't paid for about 6 months now i actually forgot about it until your post... time to call them again and listen to the awesome automated robot tell me to listen to all options, since it "recently" changed.

cops are the only thing i would sue in a accident... unless a DUI of course... but I hate cops with a passion.. especially, because he was prob looking up your license plate.. not paying attention to the road

I got an estimate from the Lexus body shop. $650 to fill, and paint the bumper. Said it's a 3 stage paint job.
