Wraped the covers today when I installed my 3k HID fogs. I feel they turned out very good. I sprayed them with a few coats of clear to give them more of a shine. Enjoy

3M 77 will work just like contact cement, and I've seen upholstery shops using it to stick fabric to plastic for years. If I were putting faux CF with a fabric backing on anything, I'd use 3M 77 because I know it will work and stay stuck for a long time.
I used 77 for years doing car audio installation and auto upholstery. It works well initially, but I would not call it lasting in terms of holding up to heat cycling.
A good uphostery shop will use something similar to this http://www.carcraft.com/techarticles.../photo_10.html

This is one type we used, much better than anything you can buy in a can.
http://www.keystononline.com/index.p...3=&productid=1

We had it in a 2 gal. paint pot and it worked great. There is also a more tacky type of contact adhesive which does not require the sides to dry. Either of these are much better than 77
or K-grip adhesive as it has a much higher holding temp (215 F). Have you seen how hot things can get in the sun?

cm09578: Did you change your headlight bulbs ~ are those DRL's that are powered up in your photos?

What did you do to the front grill? Car looks very mean and cutting edge, great job!

looks great. Looking at the surround that there are only 2 clips to hold it on. Is there a way to get to those 2 spots without removing the whole bumper? Looks like if you yank hard enough at those 2 spots it will pop off? Also since it looks good on the outside of the car what about wrapping the grill surround to match.

There are 4 clips that hold the covers on. There is a push tab release that has to be pressed to get them out. The bumper has to be removed. The grill would look great as well! BTW the bumper is not that hard to take off.
