That soft CF material is good for wrapping things.. There is no resin or clear on it to make it hard & shiny....

I have the Lexon CF Fogs on my F (Clark from VIP hooked me up). They look great and the CF weave was one of the best I've seen in a long time.
EDIT: You don't need to remove the covers, they stick on the stock ones with 3M double sided table. Just make sure you put enough tape on, clean off both surfaces really well and they won't go anywhere.
