if someone at artisan really made those kinds of comments, that just makes the whole company look bad, and in the wrong business. i honestly think most mods are "dumb" buys anyways, as in you don't usually need them - especially twin turbo's! they should hope more people have that extra cash to blow on the kit that is about 25% of the sticker on an ISF, i personally stop around 10% on every car i've owned - but that's just my neurotic habit to force me to invest in other things.

I don't know if anyone realizes but this guy is pretty young to be having this car and all the mods. Maybe his parents are millionaires and he owns part of the family business for all we know. I've got alot of friends 23-25 who's parents are millionaires because of the family business and then the kids are also pretty wealthy because they work for the parents.

Most likely looking at the bidding....he has someone bidding up on the car hence the 0 feedback on the top bidder. He is prob. just putting out feelers and has the 0 feedback guy set his reserve price, so if someone out bids 0 feedback guy then great if not he does not have to sell to that guy becuase he is just his friend to up bid the bidding. SCAM.

This guy is full of crap. Last nite I asked him a few questions knowing full well the answers . You guys are gonna love this.............

Here are the questions I asked

Dear iwillownu82,

very interested in this car. I noticed you said you ran it in the 1/4 mile to compare it to the stock ISF times. What did it run compared to the stock ISF? Do you have any dyno runs you can show me? What gas are you running? What is used for the ECU programming? I have a IS300 turbo now and think this would be the next upgrade. What is your best price to buy it now? Please get back to me asap

Here are his answers

Dear madtkd2002,

okay i ran it at the track and babied it so to speak it ran like a 12.80 sumthin rite around there it made 613hp to the ground in houston on a mustang dyno the gas is 91 octane with a meth kit.....the ecu program is a artisan re-flash tune so its like a piggy back system they are the only ones to crack the ecu yet.....the buy it now would be $***** rite around there a lil less would be fine i've put as you kno 30k into the car its a 100k car a looks evry bit of it....but if ur serious its here and its a beast a great car and a monster

- iwillownu82

Kinda feel sorry for him because either he is lying or the people who sold him all the crap on his car is lying to him and it sounds like he is trying to unload the car. Either way its a bunch of BS

Agreed!!, he is full of bs, he isn't going to get more than $65k for the car, when eh says he blew so much money on it, I would have just went for a GTR, having a v-6 twin turbo with a perfect built engine!, and then spending the rest of my money on looks of the car, don't get me wrong, but that is a nice IS-F, and if you look at Jerry's post about his myspace, his mustang looks like iwillownu82 is pretty hard on the gas...

I suspect that he means when a company that exists to modify high-end automobile trashes a customer by calling them "kind of dumb" they are in the position of damaging their own reputation with potential future customers.

An analog would be that you go in for some work at a local mechanic and he regales you with tales of your he took "some idiot" for a few thousand dollars by doing work that wasn't necessary. The bottom line is, the following week you might be the "idiot".

Well since I talked to them directly, they didnt say it like "hes a dumb guy we took all his money it was great" The price of the Artisan kit was already set. They said that he was kinda dumb meaning, he just got alot of dough from whatever source or whatever reason I cant believe hes spending is all on this car, he should be spendning his money on wiser things, but this is a speciality shop and whatever a customer wants, we do.... That is what they meant by that statement. They arent some regular Joes Mechanic Shop. They have parts cost, hourly rate and what not. No one screwed anyone here. Lets get back on topic and talk about the owner of the car and not the people that built it FOR him.

I don't know how E-bay works but look at the bid history. Something looks kinda fishy there. Oh yeah and if this "21yr old" gets a GT-R over the F he'll probably use the launch control (which will void the transmission warranty) and try to to sell it back out saying that he "baby" it.

and the lastest response.............

well i have a 10 month old baby and its just time to get rid of the toys 4 a while....yea i know ill b losing a lil bit of money but thats what happens when you build cars i build alot of cars for a living so its really no big deal......thats what i agreed to in myself when i started building this car but i hate to sell it i don't want to but i gotta get rid of the toys....i don't have any copys cuz i wanted to hit 650hp first but trust this car put down 580+ hp on any dyno....naw i babied it so it wasn't a real pass but it was at about 129mph sumthin like that i didn't really care of a time so to speak i just wanted to run it and a company wanted to see it out there here in vegas and some friends but yep its here and its a great car i own it free and clear only owner just waiting for a new home so the auction is almost done so just let me know if u want her or if ur serious on getting it

Yeah the bid history does look a bit suspect
