Being an e46 m3 owner, I've installed over 50 sets of these things and they are truly played out. LED's is the new era ~! Just look at all the new cars being released with LED's....

My plan is definitely for LED's on the IS-F. Check out my current setup on my s2000:

WOW that is realllly nice!!!!

That G35 looks like it got raped by some X-mas lights.

I like angel eyes but the purist in me says leave them for BMWs and add the Lexus look yellow fogs

lol, maybe i'm just too picky but i'm just trying to not to look like a high school light show, or a ricer, or copy any german automaker... the halo's are nice but only for bimmers imo. for the leds, i heard the strips are noticeably ugly during the daytime. any have pics of it?

thanks, appreciate the comment!

LED's are great if used properly, not all headlamps accomodate LED's that well so we take it on a case by case basis. For those intersted in doing this PM me since I'm not a site sponsor.

This is how my NSX looks with the LED's in an outboard type of setup! I have a set of e92 m3 headlamps in the garage riht now and trying to figure out how to do it nicely. These LED's are VERY BRIGHT and I purposely took these pictures in the daytime so it's easier to photograph.

here's a nighttime shot showing the intensity:

Let's not get side-tracked as we are talking about the IS-F

here's a thread on s2ki about my LED work and this can be done for any Lexus as well.

http://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php...&f=12&t=639691

My plans is to bake open the IS-F lights and paint the inners matte black (similiar to what WALD has done) and then add the LED's plus remove the amber reflectors at the same time. PM me if you want more info or pics.

bak on topic!

I think if we got rid of the Fog Lights on the ISF and put a LED strip it would look good.

Cause putting it in the headlight might over due it, unless we can get rid of the DRL's and have only LED's showing...

What ya think?

Can the oem DRL's be turned off by the dealer using their computer?

I know on e46 m3's the car's come from the factory with DRL enabled and we could have the dealer disable it.

As for the OEM fogs, once I get the car I'm going to see if there's a way to bypass the factory setup so we can turn them on with only the parking lights engaged.
