What do you guys think?
I was thinking about some blue angel eyes since my F is USB.
Looks pretty good but I get responses like keep it Japanese.

 

Funny you should ask - I was going to post my plans for the IS-F headlight once I get the car. Forget angel eyes, they are a relic of things old and antique if you ask me.

Being an e46 m3 owner, I've installed over 50 sets of these things and they are truly played out. LED's is the new era ~! Just look at all the new cars being released with LED's....

My plan is definitely for LED's on the IS-F. Check out my current setup on my s2000:

 

LEDS are better, I like the S2000 but I wanted to do something that didn't copy Audi...

 

I don't think it's copying Audi when you consider every manuf. such as Mercedes, Porsce and even McLaren is using this type of design

Plus imitation if done right is the best form of flattery!

 

Oh yeah? I guess I haven't noticed yet - I've only seen Audi's with that straight line design under the headlight.

Actually the strangest thing happened at the gas station today. I pulled up to one pump and an AMG CL pulled up behind me, M5 besides him, and an S6 on the other side of me! I was like "WTF, I thought we were suppose to be the rare cars lol". Through my mirrors I caught all of them staring at my car as I drove off with my Joe Z exhaust extra loud in manual mode.

Back to lights, I noticed the LEDS on the Audi - but it was on the lower bumper, like above the foglights. I thought that design looked off, almost like a cheap imitation but I'm pretty sure it was stock. It was a bright blue A6 with a V10 emblem on the side...

 

I would love to have LEDs like that on my headlights. I've been looking around but couldn't find any. Hook me up!!!

it would be nice if u can use 3watt cree led on the strip tho i doesnt look like the led on the lense is bright enough

 

the LED would be better. i think halo angel is for European cars like audi bmw

 

I wold also like LED's but I would like them to only run if the fogs were on. it really sucks we can't turn on just our fog lights.

 

I think it would be better if they were wired with our DRL's like Audi and Porsche...

if someone came up with a navigation override, there has to be way for foglight only overide no?

 

I believe the foglight and headlight programming is done through the ECU.

I think if you try to manually setup a cutoff switch it will probably throw some light failure codes... (something to that extent). Correct me if I'm wrong...

I dont know man....the angel eyes on your M3 still looks hot!
