Default street legal exhaust systems?

I am wondering if there are any cat-back exhaust systems for is-f similar to Joe-Z Exhaust but with high flow 2d cat to pass visual in CA. I know it's a few years away but I will probably keep the car that long and I hate an idea that I will need to go through all the hassle of removing Joe-Z Exhaust and putting back the old one just to pass smog check in CA. This is the main reason that stops me from getting one. Does Joe has any plans to develop such version? I would have no problem to pay extra cost of high flow cat just to avoid the trouble in the future. Any other brands?

How about getting some highflow cats and have an exhaust shop weld them into the exhaust. If you wanted to and had a few extra dollars laying around you could even flange them up so you could run the system with the cats or test pipes as needed.

I have never had a visual inspection in Ca. other than checking location of the primary cats, which they can do from under the hood on most cars. Just go to a pass or don't pay location, and address the issue if you don't pass. But you have 6 years before then any way.

It all depends on where you live. In Sacramento they look for the cats. All of them. Anything missing is a fail. Anything not OEM without a CARB sticker is a fail. The worst are the test only stations. DMV sent me to test only the last three times with my Supra despite passing with flying colors every time. CARB sucks. Smog Check II sucks. I left California partly because of this. At least Georgia's smog checks are performance based, not OEM configuration based.

No. Not in California either. Neither place has the rust issues you have, so there are a lot more older cars in perfect shape running around.
