Exclusiv, they already enjoy that Dad has a IS-F The rest of my cars are all modded. I think what they are saying to me is please keep this one semi stock (haha) I did up the GS so much we don't even drive it anymore because of the attention it attracts.

Don't get me wrong the kids enjoy my other "loud" cars but we don't do 2 hour road trips in them.

So you bought the catback? The picture is of the axleback. I'm confused. Good luck I guess bud. I'm sure you won't have trouble selling it.

i don't think he ever said he got a cat-back, and the pics are clearly axle back.

i've had passengers who complained about my joe z exhaust, i simply replied we can pull up to our next destination in my back up civic, which i don't mind driving at all. no one ever takes me up on that offer.

+1 for the parents with an F comment, i hated being dropped off in a crappy corolla on bad weather days back in middle school 15 years ago. i swear while intoxicated i pee'd in that thing to kill it and it still runs great.

The one I bought is from the link I provided, Borla doesn't really state what it is and I'm not too techie on this.

Ya know, the more of these threads I see about noisy exhausts, the more happy I am about what I did. Full duals, delete secondary cats, add glass pack resonators, add X pipe, and LEAVE in the stock mufflers. My wife, who is a noise phobic never really noticed the change (though I did it with only 100 miles on the clock. Folks say the exhaust is more of a feeling than a sound, it's very deep at idle. The more I drive it, the happier I am.

For what I did, look here:

I saw your post before and now am considering this ( after >500 miles with my exhaust with still a heavy drone <2000 rpm) but you don't have any dyno's of it right?

Props to you for making the family come first I would do the same

This could be a nice set up for any 2IS.

I'm sorry, but I don't. As I said, I put it on with only 100 miles on the odo, so I wouldn't have been able to do one anyway. But, as I have said, I am still most happy with the outcome.

^^ Let me give you a hand... You for sure purchased the AXLE-BACK system....
(It connects right after the OEM resonator, next to the rear axles)

Glad you didn't go for the Full Exhaust... It would have been louder for sure..

^^ Mike, this setup shown here in this thread will NOT bolt onto any 2IS.. Different size OEM piping and rear flanges..

Will only bolt onto any 08+ IS-F...

Regards,

Joe Z

Is the Borla Axle back or Joe Z full exhausts too loud to the point where the Bluetooth is not useable?

Joe Z full exhaust? How does the sound inside the cabin compare to stock while driving under 3600rpms?
