About the VCS/TCS cutting power question, I think it doesn't work that way. IIRC the VCS will apply the brakes as a traction control method, but at the same time it'll keep power to the wheels as opposed as VW that applies brakes and cuts power.

Thanks, I thought the ECU just pulled timing because that would be the easiest way to stop the tires from spinning is to cut power. Do you know any sites to go to and read information regarding the VSC, and TC?
