G8 GXP or IS-F

It's all the rage these days.
You are a G8 GXP owner or one of your family members owns a G8 GXP.
You go onto the forum of a competitor (like lexus) and create an account claiming you have lexus vehicles (pro tip: he doesn't have any of them).
The purpose of claiming he has lexus vehicles is to give him more "credibility" even though he doesn't own a lexus.
Either he's a pontiac owner (not necessarily with a G8 GXP, perhaps he has a G8 GT or a G6) OR one of his family members owns the G8 GXP and he drives an entirely different brand/car.
The "F" logo is definitely a nice touch, I can see how it would confuse some people.
Bottom line is he's with the Pontiac brand, and there's nothing wrong with it, but he needs validation that his (or one of his family members') Pontiac is superior to the closest lexus competitor.
Honestly I'm not even ******* him for this, this is something that many late teens/early 20 somethings do with comeptitor car forums.
There are a bunch of 335i owners who claim to have some lexus (to give them more credibility when they subtly prop up the 335i as being superior to the closest lexus competitor) on this forum at this very moment.
They are usually easy to spot based on the content of their posts.
Hell, I even do this sometimes, it's kind of fun. I've done it with infiniti forums before even though I don't own an infiniti. But, in my defense, I don't post on infiniti forums just to say lexus > infiniti, I will at least back up my claims with factual evidence. Not just poetic "herf derf lexus = luxury and not performance" rubble.
Maybe some of us should go onto the pontiac forums and create new accounts with signatures saying we own a G8 GXP and talk about "switching" to the IS-F due to superior interior luxury and prestige (name).

Have a peek at m3post if you would like to see how other forums handle matters like this thread.![EEK!](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/eek1.gif)
There is/was a thread there comparing an M3 to a G8 that is hilarious to read. I do appreciate that the Mods here don't allow the conversations to deteriorate to that level, but sometimes it would sure be nice to blast retarded posts.

Cmon Now, we have to be very fair, we cannot bring up names from the early 90s, we have to be up to date, thats why I picked the Aztek and not the Sunturd or the CanHam or the Pontiac 6000. LMFAO

I have driven a G8 GT and it was quick. A Holden Commodore is all it is; however, the car in no way shape or form can be considered as a "comparable" vehicle to the IS-F. May as well compare a VW bug to a Ford Excursion. I don't see how someone can say that they would be buying a G8 or a Lexus. It does not make any sense. I would never drive a GM that is plagued by the cheap unfit plastic interior syndrome (not to mention depreciation, reliability, safety or class).

And with this, I think the discussion is ended. Thanks for the civility!
