Default dyno of K&N intake

Well, my intake came in yesterday and I had the dyno done today. I didn't reset anything, just drove to the dyno. Car was dyno in 4th gear and made 364 rwhp and 316 tq. after the intake. The dyno was very smooth with good a/f. If you have any other questions just ask, I'm posting this with my iPhone so I'm going nuts trying to type.

Did you by chance have it dyno'd in 6th gear as well?! The reason that I ask, as would others, is that 6th is the closest to a 1:1 gear ratio.

Nope. They wouldn't do it. They said 170mph is way to much for the dyno

Go to Mach V Motorsports in Sterling. They will dyno it in 6th gear.

Not off the top of my head, but I know they will do it. That is where Cayman did his dyno runs. I used to live 5 minutes away as well at Camden Westwind in Ashburn.

Just give them a call and talk to Dan. He is the owner and a really cool guy.

Go to MachV and schedule a dyno slot. It's 100 dollars for as many pulls as you want for the hour. They are very familiar with the 2IS.

I didn't even wanna tell any one but the iPhone has a dyno app. From what I here it's very close to a real dyno number. I did run the car on the app before the intake and it made 351rwhp does that sound right?

Try it again now with your Iphone see if it gives more hp with your intake.

Well I took the Car to the track today. I didn't do all so well... Has anyone had any problem with there trans when they try to trans break? I feel the trans is sliping... The 60 foot sucks. I had a 2.2 60foot and ran a 13.3 at 108mph...

I just noticed that your torque numbers look really low.

You should still be able to pull 12's. I havnt been able to get a good 60' but when i made the same power as you do now i was still able to consistently run 12.8
