As an update...Lexus will not release the part (Fuel Pump) till another FTS (Field Tech Specialist) comes out and look at the issue again...Will Keep fingers crossed this time.

The fact that a Field Tech Specialist is coming out is a good thing. If it's not the fuel pump, they may find the actual problem. Good luck Salil!

Keep us posted...

If it's any consolation, I heard this same exact noise on another IS-F recently and compared it to my car.
On a scale of 1-10..
It was almost like, I can hear it on my car but at volume level 1 and the other car sounded like yours, at volume level 10.

Its really a distinct noise / characteristic, that might just end up being normal..

If something was broken or breaking by now, it would have happened.
Plus it would be a wide spread issue.

Hoepfully its nothing major!

Regards,

Joe Z

You should have taken a picture! By the way I'd like to say thanks for updating us on the engine sound. My dealers give me the "It's ok" answer all the time. Can't wait till yours is fixed. I hope that they realize that this is a problem with not just one, but a few IS-F's out there. Perhaps a TSB can be issued on the matter. If you talk to the lead tech, you should mention that there are others out there with the issue but are being turned away just as you were.

Thanks Salil! If you're ever up in the NE area we could do a photoshoot of both our IS's.

Did they say what was wrong on the exhaust side? Mine also makes the noise. But it really sounds like it is under the car and only when at full temp.

Thanks
