IS-F Black Pearl Emblem kit on Ebay for $100?
I'm thinking it must be a fake replica kit as seller has ZERO feedback but even so would that matter for emblems?
Anyone try this kit?

For $200 at dealer cost - it's at least "reasonable" for a set of emblems so their profit margin is almost DOUBLE! damn thieves...haha
Yea the trouble to remove each emblem, have them masked / painted and then to cut new double sided tape for each piece it's worth just buying new.
I may pick up this kit though personally I've never been a fan of badges to begin with. All of my cars have been debadged (s4, m3, etc) and my dad always yells at me saying heck you paid for the brand, why remove it! haha)
Never understood why Lexus has the word "LEXUS" on the bottom left when we all see the huge "L" symbol on the trunklid already - kinda redundant?

If the dealer is truly doing this then I've just lost respect for them, we should report them....
Oh I sent them message on Ebay asking if these were OEM pieces and here's their reply:
"No such thing as "authentic and oem from Lexus" The "Black Pearl" is an afternarket process done on the oem chrome emblems. As for the walk in price, we'll see after the auction ends.

In fact, I got a complete set of BP emblems for my car on ebay for like $85 shipped buy-it-now, when everyone else wanted $270. And it was even from a lexus dealership (superstition springs lexus).

IIRC, even Carson Toyota (l-tuned) stated that they have them done aftermarket.

Hey guys, Cathy asked me to chime in on the surround so I will post up the info on it.
Originally we wanted to plate it here in the US, but none of the companies who plate wanted to do it. They said it was not possible. So our next option was to get it done in Japan were NO is not an option it seems. The got us the grille surround and plating as one peice.
We do have them available for sale, and they are listed on our site already. If you need the link to my site or the price please PM as I don't want to turn Cathafer's thread into a sales thread.
We also did all the emblems pearled including the side fender ones as well. Those are a fully dipped palting process that outlast anything coming out of Lexus emblems.
