No numbers...

The original company who did the installation has fallen off the face of the planet. I am now working with another, much more capable party (who performed some of the recent work).

Kind of a slap to the face reading that thread, but oh well. Most of that night was focused on data logging, which was unfortunately all lost (making all of the conjecture in that thread even more disappointing).. that's all i'm going to say.

Any idea why its coming off the line with a whimper and not a roar? Is the traction that bad?

I'm no big fan of solid axles, but they do launch better than IRS...

Traction could have been an issue. The left lane at PBIR hasnt been the best when it comes to prep.

-F has been replaced. It was fun while it lasted.... (and no, not destroyed by the nitrous!)

I am not too happy to hear that! was this because of the issues regarding lexus service and the issue with the wheels? what have you moved on to?

WoW..

Did you find a happy buyer to buy it fully modifiied?? or did you spend time putting in back to stock..

When I traded in the 350 for the F... I had less that 18hrs to put my ride back to 100% stock.. it was a mad dash with the help of good friends..

I read your other post about the wheels, but I hope that wasn't the only reason why you got rid of it..

The wheel pitting and the poor lexus service overall was the impetus. I then recently relocated to my house in North Florida and the roads (and my driveway) are not -F friendly, so it just didn't make sense to hang on to the car any longer...

The car has been traded already, but the nitrous equipment was not sold with it and is being removed. Not sure what i'll do with it.. either part it out or maybe save for a future project? who knows.

Either way, I replaced it with a fairly "dissimilar" vehicle...

I will be the first to admit, I really really loved and miss the -F, but it was time for it to go. I've only had the FX since last Thursday so haven't really had much time to spend in it. The FX is definitely not for everyone and I am still getting used to the looks of it.... but the 390HP/369FT-LB 7K revving V8, rear active steer, and AWD, helps make the transition a little easier..
