Is the Ultrasonic Blue Mica rare?

I've seen and met well over a dozen is-f owners in houston. Out of all them, I've only seen one gray. Even on this forum (and my.is).. you rarely see the gray. The blue is still the unique color (or was). The silver is the next semi-unique in line since it is different than the is250/350 silver (came from the gs silver I believe). Although the gray isn't unique, it seems to be the rarest and least played out for our model. I would keep the gray.. it has that nice hint of blue in it too!

In my opinion I'd say the USB is rare... I was unable to find any 2010 USB in NE ohio in the model I was wanting, this Jan. So I purchased my lovely red one... LOVE IT! (Still kinda wished it was blue though)

It really comes down to how you think about the color. Regardless of how "exclusive" USB IS-Fs are, can you justify paying more money just for a different color? As you've mentioned, your SGM is in showroom condition with less mileage on it and you'll be fully satisfied even if you stay put, so ask yourself this question, do you feel USB and 09 MY worth the extra money?
When I bought my '11 IS-F, dealer had an USB IS-F with exact same interior color and options, but wanted 6K more simply because the color. Guess what? I picked up a MRM and I'm extremely happy with my choice. I just can't convince myself paying extra 6K for a color is a wise choice. Good luck with your decision!

I can't see the justification for paying 6k more for USB, but I'll admit- it is a really attractive color. Some really like the color blue, and it was exclusive for the F until the 250/350/C of MY2010+. The rare occasion that I see a USB, regardless of whether it's an IS F or not, I do catch myself taking a long glance at it.

colors...?
...I live in Vegas, and this dealer, seems ONLY to order / get USB or the SP white...both so common in 2011. I saw one go by the other day in OB black. that's it. don/t see many here. Never saw the MRM red?
Like 60 % of ALL cars on the road here, are silver (grey) or white...another 20% are black.
No colore in the world anymore?
Bring back the '50's & 60's...lol, but yeah!

Lexus of Las Vegas had a nice CPO 2008 USB IS-F about 10 days ago when I was picking a part.
Now they just have a Smokey Granite Mica
