This is really horrible news! Hopefully the police will find your car and you'll get it back in one piece. Someone out there has some guts to steal an F off of someone's driveway.
I agree with what the others have already stated, it has to be an inside job, someone has to have known when you were taking a vaca and when you were going to get back. Hopefully your insurance will reimburse you fully. The best of luck.

I guess someone's Is350s gonna look like a F very soon. Rims, brakes, fenders, etc....... Damn, you must be like the first IsF to be stolen. I still can't believe you left your car in the driveway for vacation. I would have made space in the garage for it. Oh wells, at least you will get a nice check back from the Insurance company....

Whoa. Sorry to hear. But I agree that it's either an inside job or someone has been eyeing your car for awhile now. One thing that works in your favor is that this is a relatively low production car, so if parts or the car pops up, it'll be easier to identify as yours.

First and foremost, sorry to hear you are a victim.
Question to other responses: If you saw your neighbors sports car being towed away from their drive way, would you think:
a) Repo
b) Broken down, being towed to the dealer
c) Thief
And that's how the best thieves work. ***** is the trick. And if you challenged them, they will simply respond with a) or b).
BTW, putting it in the Garage is not going to stop them. It makes it a little easier because they can work on the car without the neighbors looking in.
If it were my IS F stolen I would hope they did not find it, because you know it is going to be messed up. Take the insurance money and feel good about the $57 a year I spent on Gap insurance.
I looked at Lo-Jack. It allows the police to find my damaged IS F before the insurance company cuts a check. Explain to me again the benefits of Lo-Jack?

Sorry Dude about the car being stolen.
What I don't understand is why you guys are finding it hard to believe that someone would try and steal an F? It is a hot car? When the E46 M3 came it, they were getting stolen like crazy!
Anyway, best of luck dude.
