What lines ???

lol show off joe also, with half hood, over time a lot of dust (or even wax residue) will get trapped at the line and it will become more and more obvious. imho especially for darker color cars, full hood has more benefit. of course, trade off between that and price

I had the 3m film put on my m3 and you could see the seams on the front bumper pretty easily. Can anybody tell me if the seams with the venture shield are noticeable? Thanks....

you mean around the edges of the bumper? not on my cars, i have venture and they are relatively invisible. of course if you wax and residue (white get in that seam and your car is dark color, that's a different story

I have the full frontal hood wrap on my NSX and highly recommend it if you are considering it since you will have no lines! Any color, any car will show the clear bra line otherwise...especially once dust builds.

Plus with the clear bra, the paint chip always happens right above the clear bra if you only do a partial....

I'm taking my IS-F to get the old clear bra removed (partial) and a full hood wrap done later this week.

30" Hood, 30" Fenders, Front Bumper, Lower part of fenders with entire side skirts, side view mirrors, door cups, head & fog lights..

Rear bumper is a bit overkill, unless you parallel park a lot..

Would like your suggestion i got a minor chip on the hood closer to the grill. if i touch it up and put in the 3m Clear Bra would i see the touch up paint more since i have put the clear bra?

if you touch up the chip well and try to make it as flat as possible, the clear bra will probably help to hide it. but the key is to make it flat

I have been considering this myself, but I have a different issue to clear up first. I bought a used ISF one month (only 14k miles), and the first time I fully detailed it last week, I noticed the previous owner treated it poorly. There are a couple of small chips that he or she filled, and there are some very, very minor scratches.
So my question is, is it worth considering having the entire car stripped, repainted, and then putting the clear bra protections on the car?

I have the ventureshield on my front bumper and have been very happy with it. I didn't do my hood b/c I was worried about where to stop the film giving the bulge of the F hood and my black exterior. Looking back I wish I would have just picked a stopping point on the hood (or the whole hood) and done it too. Given your car is an 08, I think it comes down to if the front of your car is chip-free enough still to make it worth the investment. With my hood, it doesn't make sense now to bra it until I repaint the hood (which at the rate it seems to chip, won't be too long...).

you can wax the clear bra, but absolutely nothing abrasive otherwise you will be damaging the clear bra permanently. personally, i don't wax the clear bra (from my experience wax don't attach to clear bra as well anyway). i just use plexus (google) to wipe everything down
