Carbon fiber approved! That is a truly unique ISF.

Would it have looked better on a darker-colored car? Probably.
Do I still think it's badass? Indeed I do.

no, its a black LS430 with matte black/red lips on the drivers side, Brushed with Polished lips on the passenger side

Room mate's LS430

ugh, this car can't make up it's mind. I hope in the future your friend gets all carbonfiber parts, then it would look clean!. I hate mix n match lol.

You guys in South Florida have way different tastes from us here in the West Coast. Personally i'm not a fan...but whatever works!

I can see the trunk lid fitment is still a huge problem as there aren't any other pics but one pic of the rear:

yea i agree with the fitment... like i said in my first post, we have to play with the fitment but its no problem because my trunk was sitting higher than that & once i played with fitment, its nice and flush

In what way? If you are getting a flush fitment, you must have either 1) modified the lid hinges by bending/grinding them down or 2) the c/f lid itself was modified at the mounting points.
