DRL Bulb replacement with LED version, flickering?
I know a few members here have swapped their high beam (9005) DRL bulb for an LED version for a cleaner 6000k DRL. Did you guys have issues with the bulb flickering or sometimes not turning on?
Most LED bulbs need 12 volts to trigger and since the 9005 bulb is running at lower voltage with the DRL design, it seems my bulbs barely have enough power to stay lit. I replaced mine with a 9005 LED version and the light stays on and is pretty bright but flickers a bit. It’s most noticeable when I put my hand up to it and you can see the light is not stable.
Have you guys found a way to make the LED DRL function correctly?
TIA!

Yup, mines flickers just a bit, nothin major to lose sleep over. I thought about doing a relay but I got lazy. lol, maybe one of these weekend when its not freeking 95degrees outside, I 'll do my own relay wiring for the high beams.

I got the voltage booster module so will let you know how it works out when it's installed in the car.
