I don't see the possibility of ruining or damaging anything, by not having rear mufflers.
You probably freed up a few extra ponies with the new 2.5" piping / axle section.

its a track car. not looking to make things all pretty and all show with no intentions to race it. its using stock piping to the axle back and remover resonator and rear section to free up some weight. power seems great but for the track honestly we have plenty. an extra 20 horses is not going to make me any faster and for every 100 lbs is a tenth off your time and its cheaper. we all know that our cars are tanks so i am looking to free up about 250lbs.

Here is an approx 30lb weight saving tip / diet for the IS-F.

Alot of my friends are telling me that it sounds Great!, and they don't think a purchased exhaust would sound as good as it is now!?
