Default New Mods: Teins Installed and Painted Exhaust Tips

So far I'm very happy with the Tein springs...the ride is much better than it was before and the drop looks good. I've got about 500 miles on them now so I think they are settled. My body shop buddy also painted the exhaust tips and I hope we never have to do that again. The first attempt was to match the black chrome wheels but we could simply not get it right, so we went gloss black. So far they are holding up very well and have been on for about 1000 miles. This now completes the deletion of chrome on the exterior of my car. I know a lot of people like the F's chrome trim but I wanted to be a little different. I also had the ebay roof spoiler on but decided it wasn't my thing. I should be posting it in the For Sale section soon.

All I have left to do now is try the K&N intake I purchased. I'm going to install that his week and I'll get back with my thoughts.

Black tips work well on the black car. Nicely done.

Could you post up some closer shots of the tips?

Here's about the best I have. The tip finish is not 100% 'perfect,' but the fact they are black and I don't do car shows where the car is inspected with a magnifying glass make them good enough for me.

Very nice.

Any rubbing with people in the car, any bottoming out in hard turns?

Thanks

Feeling the blacked out badges the MOST

Tips look good too but since you seem to be so **** about chrome, how about getting rid of the unsightly front amber corners?
