Default squeaking trim parts

Hey guys,

Overall my car is, like most Lexus vehicles, quiet and well built. However, the silver painted trim pieces on either side of the shifter tend to squeak a bit when going over bumps...anyone else have this problem?
Is that something the dealer can remedy?

Sorry to hear about that issue you're having guys.

I was just driving the other day and thinking to myself how amazingly tight the interior is in my F. No squeaks, no rattles, no anything.

I dont have any squeaks on my F even i pulled out to unlock the Navi while driving.
You should take it to dealer and get them to take a look at it. they might be able to help you out..

My driver side seat has a squeak. Noise comes from the plastic around the seat adjustment lever. Had it at the dealership where they applied some felt, which fixed it for a while but the noise has come back. No big deal really as I can only hear it when I don't have the radio on and i'm going slow over small bumps.

As for the center dash noise, I had a similar problem on my IS350. Took it to the dealership and had it fixed. They applied some noise reduction kit to the whole dash which basically included felt on most of the connection points.

I had similar noises coming from the dash...took it to the dealership and they went in and applied noise reduction material at various point within the dash. They eventually replaced the entire dash due to some warping at the driver's side air vent.

I have the squeaking too and had not thought much about it, but it's good to know others have had the issue and the dealer has a remedy...thanks!

Mine was fine for a while..

Noticed after having recently parked under the sunny (extremely) hot days here in SoCal, that I have developed some interior noise gremlins..

Oh well!!
