Default Those with K&N intake

I have my intake for about a week and so far so good the only concern I have was the initial woot/sound when I shift at 3rd or 4th gear....it kinda sounds like those big American suv's from the inside... (tahoe, sub). The sound gets better at higher rpms. Anybody want to comment?

I love the sound at any RPM. With the Joe Z exhaust and K&N intake the car feels much quicker, and the sound is perfect IMO

What are your thoughts on this? I keep getting people bashing on K&N products, because it's American and I should I just wait on some releases from Japan

I sold my Joe-Z intake, And love my K&N. It seems quicker to me and the sound is great. Even another IS-F owner liked the sound of it riding in my car.

i had mine for almost for a month. i like it so far. sounds great and performance got increased a lil bit but not to sure. anyways only concern i have with the intake was when it reaches 6k+ rpm it kind of rattles inside the car but not a big deal.

Tested on a dyno with the hood up and fans blowing into the engine bay? When was the last time you drove with your hood up?
