Default Debadged IS F's???

I was reading on one of the MB sites about several people who had debadged their C63's and it got me to thinking that I hadn't seen any F's that were stripped clean.

Has anyone seen one or done it themselves? It's something that I've been contemplating for quite some time as I think that SGM with the black pearl grill surround and tinted windows would look clean without the badges.

Any thoughts?

Unless you go with an aftermaket trunk lid like above, you're gonna have to fill the holes used for aligning the badges. Not worth it IMO. And unlike the C63 guys, we have no need to hide the ID of our cars in shame.

why would you want to hide the fact that you got a is-f? i would keep the is-F emblem.

The trunk lid above isn't aftermarket - it's OEM trunk with a molded Wald spoiler. I had my holes filled.

I am thinking about sticking the "F" back on in the corner though. I'll just have to break the stem off of the "F" badge since my holes are filled.

Oh nice. I thought you were running a painted Ventross lid.

I would debadge even though it would be kind of hard to hide the fact that it's an IS-F.

It cost me $500 iirc to mold the Wald spoiler, fill those holes, and paint the whole trunk.

Edit: No, I still have the fender emblems, which is why I'm considering just sticking the "F" on the back.

Nah, I kinda wish I was though, lol. I was looking at CrazyMPG's Ventross for sale and it looks NICE! I don't think I want to go through the hassle of changing out the camera and wiring, etc.

I think the Ventross is cleaner than the molded Wald though. The trunk lines up with the rear quarter and there's no line under the "L".

By the way, here's what I meant about the molded Wald not lining up with the rear quarter.

Still very nice though.

To answer this question - in my experience, the people who know what the F is, will know it whether the badge is there or not. The people who need to see the badge, don't know what an F is anyway. They just know it's a Lexus.

I love the debadged look, you should leave them off. I took the V's off may car but it was only adhesive no holes.
