Default CF shift paddles

What would it take to install these?

Are we talking about removing the airbag or much easier then that?

airbag would have to be removed and the lower and upper cover of the steering column im guessing. really should be only a few screws the clockspring and a torx bit (if they are like other steering wheels).

might I suggest just taking 6 $100 bills and wrapping & gluing them on the OEM paddles? no disassembly required.

The OEM paddles are magnesium. Is this change just for appearance? They can't possibly be lighter than Mg.

They don't say which stockers though. ISx50 are plastic. IS-F is magnesium. Bet they're the plastic ones.

No different then people adding other bits of CF to their car. To each one's taste.

No they are not. They magnesium with CF wraped around them. They are purely a mod to enhance the look and not performance and they add maybe 70grams of weight. They do look pretty good though.

Nice. So they really are worth the money if you want the CF look.

Mr. Dave, sounds like you like them. Does this mean you have them already? If so, show the pics!

I don't know if they are worth the money, but yeah if you want the look at least the quality has not been compromised.

I do indeed. I was thinking of getting them when I decide to get the steering wheel done.
