+1 or +2 or +3 for Carbotech!
Best thing I ever did for this car was replace the OEMs with the 1521s! Almost zero dust, no noise and no more wheel corrosion makes for a happier driving experience. I don't track or race the car so can't say anything regarding how these pads perform when pushed.

Carbotech track pads work great on the F. XP12s in the front and XP10s in the rear survived CMP again this weekend and with the stability controls off (pedal dance and button hold - more on that in another thread) no issues with overheating in 20 and 30 minute sessions. You could run them on the street, but they're VERY grabby and squeak like no tomorrow unless they're hot.

So I autocross here and there (1-3 times a quarter), and do a good bit of highway playing around (150+ MPH). This is a daily driver.
So what am I looking at to be the best pad for my application? I have read a lot of post about the options I have. I'm not trying to spend a huge load of money, but I do want the best pads that will fit my needs.
HAWK HPS, seem to be what most of you are replacing for the OEM

I'm getting my Project Mu pads tomorrow but they probably won't be on the car for another week or so because I have to go out of town for work. When I put them on I'll post my impressions of them.
FWIW I'm not a big fan of of the Hawk HP's. I had them on my Evo 9 and on my wife's TL and they don't have a lot of initial bite hot or cold and get a considerable amount of pad "build up"= noise when used in stop and go traffic. I have a friend that works for Hawk who'd give me a set of pads and I still won't use them. Their race pads are different story.
