Nah, that sounds about right for an IS-F, you smoked him for sure!

by the way JOE, he was asking if i knew of any exhaust for an F. I dont know much of mods for the F, so i told him to get a hold of you on here for the JoeZ exhaust and all his other mods.

Joe I'm not hating on you. I have your intake! but for real. The driver makes the man most of the times! So the guy who lost with his f to a 350 must have been messing up a bit.

per Lexus.com

IS350 = 3,527 lbs

IS-F = 3,780 lbs

The only reason you won is because, it was most likely the first time this IS-F driver went to a race track...

Yes of course... I agree 100%

I put my modded IS350 up against a stock IS-F at a 1/4 mile track and all I saw was the rear door and the tail lights of the IS-F next to me, on most of my passes..

Well 2nd time is also a good reason..

Launching an IS-F at a drag strip takes lots of skill. Traction is a major issue.

If you spin the wheels the race is over quickly, especially on an 1/8th mile track.

Now if this was on a 1/4 mile track, he would have passed you up on his second run. Its pretty clear his 1st run was a bust ending at 60mph

If you go to dragtimes.com you will see IsF running from 8.0-8.6 in the 1/8th miles. so Im guessing its because of inexperienced driver in the F

It was just me and the sales guy - he was about 180 lbs and i'm about 230 lbs.

Yup, Its the Jag/Land Rover/Volvo place between Momentum BMW and Sterling McCall Lexus.

Thanks for input, i'm considering the blitz controller for my LS430.. And for clarification - I didn't say The F cars are slower than my modded GS, I said " My GS is quicker than THIS particular 'F' (the one I drove)..

Thanks!! I'm looking forward to it!!

The BMW is for my girl friend, she wanted a 328 coupe but tonite i talked her into a 335 coupe..

Thanks for reading, accurately!

I did drove it with Sport mode and with VSC off..

Dealers are not stocking F's anymore - "Special Order Only" as they told me.. GRRR

Again Thanks for the input.. and again.. I never said my GS is faster than the F.. I said, theres something wrong with THIS particular "F" - and since i own a modded GS which i know inside and out is my comparison car.. I thought to myself - The F better blow my socks off compared to my GS400, but this one didn't but i'm not giving up.. I'm in the market for one!

My girlfriend is the one who wants a BMW Coupe.. Thanx bro..

Thats great for you and very unfortunate for the F owner but your reply is out of context and it does not resolve any issues or problems I asked..

Thank you! Can we get back on topic and find out why the 'F' I drove was 'Limping'?? Thanx

Yes, for the 2nd and 3rd time - I'm in the market for an ISF and for the record i was shopping BMW's for my girlfriend who wants a 3 series coupe.. Relax everyone - lets get back on topic..
IS-F badges alone don't make the car fast...
