I just can't wait for someone to put OEM LSD and try it out...
I hate doing donnuts not from the spot, when u just turn wheel to side and press on acelerator...I hate to spin tires first on the spot and the do a donnut...

OK, time to stop the stupidity. It is IMPOSSIBLE to turn off VDIM, no matter WHAT you do. VSC and TRAC can be disabled. The electronic limited slip CAN NOT BE SHUT OFF. Neither can ABS, EBFD, and brake assist. VDIM describes ALL these features used in an integrated fashion instead of standalone implementation.
So you will NEVER get 100% of the car's nannies shut off. EVER. You can't even disable the skid control ECU because it controls brake bias electronically, so you'd be at a single fixed brake bias (and likely not a good track or street compromise for anything but getting groceries).
I pored over the entire suite of VDIM features and implementation when I got my '06 350, and I've read every update since. I originally posted the chart JoeZ put up describing what is off and on with the different switch settings.
So, to recap:
VDIM - can NEVER be turned off
ABS/EBFD/BA - can NEVER be turned off
VSC - can easily be turned off with a switch or the pedal dance
TRAC - can easily be turned off with a switch or the pedal dance

Lexus' sophisticated Vehicle Dynamics Integrated Management [1] system adds a comprehensive Sport mode on the IS F that supports high-performance driving. A very experienced driver can even turn VDIM off completely should the driver choose to tackle the road's twists and turns without assistance.

Haha not trying to start a flame war, I know ABS and all that crap can't be turned off, I am just showing what is on Lexus.com... Not trying to start a war here hehe... I just hope that its possible to turn off TRAC (if thats what its called - too many acronyms that aren't being used in the right place, its kind of confusing...
Can someone explain the "pedal dance"? There is a similar thing you can do on the NSX to disable ABS... (lift the parking brake to the first click and drive under 25mph for 100' etc)

can someone explain where or how to do the Pedal Sequence to turn the ediff off/ Also the other day I was trying to do a powerslide and there was no Ediff help the car just burned one tire all the way though it was so depressing.
If I want to car to slide around like it has a diff though power sliding do you just hold the Trac button down while stopped?
If I press it once it just turns off so you can do a burn out...
I've never really understood this and was so annoying and I was about to buy an OSG because I miss powersliding around corners.

You have to press and hold the Traction control button down until you see the car icon AND the "VSC Off" appear. Your car will still start to light the inside tire up, but then the eLSD will kick in.
Even if you get a Limited Slip differential, you will still start to light the inside tire up (as it is spinning faster). There are multiple types of Limited Slip Differentails (1 way, 1.5way, 2 way etc)
Go into a parking lot, turn off everything by holding the Trac control button down (as stated above)..put the car in M mode..get it going, doing about 15mph..hammer on it until the wheels start spinning, turn wheel sideways, shift and the whole car will be going sideways without a problem. (Remember, this will probably not be condoned upon by the authorities)
I've had cars with read LSD and this car does a good job of mimicking it.
