I strongly believe that a car of this price and prestige level is best left completely stock aesthetically.

Thanks for the great comments folks!

BTW for those interested I recently discovered that WT makes the digitalfit mats for the REAR of the IS now, something that wasn't available yet when I got the fronts. I just ordered a pair to compliment my fronts! (Even tho like NO one ever sits at the back... LOL)

Now it sounds like everybody wants the gunmental/polished wheels now that they see how nice they look in all the other markets. Hopefully these will be an option in 2010 models.
Yeah tell me about it. I too voted for the gunmetal/polished set. Lexus did take our survey seriously and selected the all gunmetal wheels based off of our survey. They do listen! It was a 60/40 result in favor of what we currently get now.

Check out my new thread for instructions and pictures of my install.

No problems with size, fitment, or color, as long as you choose the black sill colors for the F.

We would have had that too by now..

I put that and "under 3500 lb curb weight" in the comments section. Didn't do any good, but figured I might as well ask.

I think that would have required a steep miracle for that to happen. The IS350 is already 3527 lb, so switch it to a V8, 8-speed tranny, fender flares, hood bulge, quad exhausts, BBK, while maintaining a minimum Lexus level of luxury, without the extensive use of carbon fibre to add at least $50K to the base price, I think they would win the Engineers of the Century award if they were able to make that reality.

For those who asked about my USB adaptor... I didn't take pics of the box install and I'm too lazy to take it apart again But here's to show the placement of the USB plug and flash drive.

What do you see here? Nothing unusual right?

Well, a simple pullout of the side console piece (MUCH easier than you think) and Voila!

Hidden USB drive conveniently tucked away

And if I want to whip it out... err.. the drive...

There you go!

I didn't post these pics earlier because I was waiting for a spare console piece to come in to do some minor alterations to make this work. Now I have space for all the mp3's I'll ever want to listen to in the car. No need to burn those archaic CD-rom mp3's.
