Trade in value for this car is hurting cause of the $5k rebate on the IsF. I picked up a brand new one for $49.5k and thats considered high according to alot of fellow members on this forum, I've heard as low as $47.5 for a brand new F. but regardless, the $5k rebate is gone and is not available anymore. So the trade in value for the F might actually go back up soon. cause who would buy a used 08 for $46-47k when they can pick up a new one for $49k? but since there is no more $5k rebate, that means you have to pay $53k+ for a new leftover 08 unless the dealer is very desperate to get rid of their 08s. 09s should be going for $57k, so sooner or later used 08 IsF for $45-49k is going to sound like a ok bargain. thats how I see it, correct me if Im wrong

People!!! Calm down, the dudes from Cali!!! is there even snow there? lol
I use to have a IS250, the IsF is basically the same as the Is250 maintenance wise!! Ok, the brake pads might wear faster, but thats mainly cause of the way you drive, try beating on the is250 like the way you would on a F, lets see how long those brake pads are gonna last? Tires are the next thing, basically the same concept, but indeed the 19s are going to be pricier than the stock 17s on the 250 or the 18s on the 350s. Oil change is about the same but the IsF takes 10 quarts of regular oil over 6-7 quarts on the other is. Fuel consumption is going to amaze you, unless you do all city driving, the isf is actually very on par with the is250 awd or the is350. The Mark Levinson is not really that amazing at first, but after listening to it for the past 3-4 months, Im getting the hand of it and it sounds pretty Ok!!
