Sticker / MSRP price will be normal for the first few months of the 2010 IS-F release..

The new model year F will see a 1.8% ($1000) increase in its base U.S. MSRP, versus the final 2009 model year price.

The 2010 IS-F with Nav & ML will be sticker priced at around $62,645.00
or $58,635 for a Base Model.

There is NO major over stock on the 2009's.. just a few here & there..

why dude? id still stick with the '08. as necessary as the LSD is to make the F a better driving experience, take pride that you have one of the first ones ever made. lexus did such a great job in R&D with this technologically-enhanced vehicle that it can only find minor changes to correct it. but if you must trade the '08 F, the '10 is not a bad way to go at all.

The changes are merely cosmetic and technological. Even the mechnical LSD is a minor change given that the previous models (08-09) had an electronic LSD which evenly distributes the power to both wheels. So unless you want a bunch of useless gadgets and some nice blue trim on your steering wheel, I wouldn't advise waiting for the 2010 model. You're never going to be driving the car hard enough in turns on public roads to make full use of the electronic LSD, much less a mechanical one.

Oh, and I believe the new wheels are not forged BBS wheels. You now have to pay extra for them, I think, for basically the same baseline price.

Right but the electronic one doesn't work from a stop. The mechanical one does. And yes, I can definitely see using it on the street from a stop.

Thats true... I will see if I can pick up a used one later down the road. If I get a good trade in price I might...

I think I'll be more happy when they make more stuff for our F's and it will shut my mouth about trading it in..

I agree but I also absolutely adore the 45 degree peel outs.

Amen! And you will actually be able to put more power down on the road coming out of a corner. This is something this car (and a few other Lexus V8) should have had from the start.
