Thinking of powder coating.
Decided on matte black. Powder coated. The reason why is the lip was in pretty bad shape on the front wheels. sand blasted down to bare metal and for a strong cohesion went all the way. Hope you like:

You are on LEs right? Those are discontinued and pretty rare, so I'd leave the polished lip as-is and powder coat the spokes. That way you preserve the LE status. If you coat the whole thing then it becomes the regular TE. Not as nice IMO.

Would DEFINITELY 110% stick with the polished lip....
All black wheels are so outdated IMO and you simply lose the definition of the wheel unless in "perfect" lighting. My girl associates all black wheels with hubcap cheap wheels and unless you are trying to build a show car that requires an all black wheel, I would keep the polished lip.
Primecut's reason is also a great point to consider!
