Serious Question:
How do you guys feel about the Five Axis Design Front Lip....???
It was soley built as a prototype on the Import Tuner / Tein Project - Blue IS-F for SEMA 2008..
This version was made in Carbon Fiber, but I am certain it can be made from other materials....
Development Stage....
Final Product shown at SEMA 2008....
Focus on the side profile of the Blue IS-F
Most Recently at Toyotafest 2009....
Enjoy & Discuss...!!!!

JOE!!!! Its funny you ask about that lip, because I was asking Javy bout that a while back. He told me it'd be too pricey for them to actually make it. But IMO, I def think it looks HOT! They should make a full kit!

^^ Well I'm communicating with Five Axis (right now) to see if its feasible and/or cost effective for them to make a small run of these...
Right now they have the means to make it in Carbon Fiber or FRP....
FRP is highly not recommended for a front lip, as it can break easily.
Will keep you guys posted..
I do not think the design can be modified or changed since the tooling has already been made.

I think in this case Lexus tuners can learn something from the famous BMW Tuner AC Schnitzer.....
This picture is from my e46 m3 - however the idea is the same - keep the lip made of CF but keep the overhang minimal so it can clear curbs. The key is the dual "flippers" made of solid fiberglass that protects the CF. They act as "FEELERS" so you will hear those flippers scrape first and protect the lip. The flippers are cheap to replace, easily paintable and protect the expensive CF behind it
The other big problem is overhang and this is something we have no control over but I have found the IS_F to be pretty good just like the e46 m3! You measure overhang from the front edge of your tire to the front bumper. The shorter the bumper is that overhangs the front wheels, the easier it is to clear bumps at an angle. I had a b$tch of a time driving the GT3 over angled driverways as it would always scrape. The e46 m3 in comparo I NEVER scrape.
here's the difference between my GT3 and m3:
