That F was on the market for a long time. I wouldn't be surprised if it had an unmentioned issue. Having almost no warranty left and it not being a CPO would be a turn-off for many.

not sure what you mean, carfax shows it as only being for sale for 2 months, not everyone has 40k to drop. Also, its in service was was 7/08 wasn't it? that means it has a bunch of warranty left. Only this is, how the hell did it get all those miles

Carfax only shows that it was sold at auction. The car was on the market for some time on autotrader as a private sale (i've been shopping around for a long time). Warranty is up to 50k, which goes by real fast in SoCal, optimistically a year and a half on this car.

On a side note, carfax is not as accurate as everyone believes. I had a car with 7K in accident damage, reported to police, DMV, insurance and the carfax was still spotless. I had to tell prospective buyers about the accident.

Yea, I think you can find a better deal if you're willing to spend a few k more.

I got my F/ML/CPO with 9k miles for $51k OTD.
For comparison, Glendale Lexus wanted $46K OTD for their F with 30k on it.

On the high mileage side for 1 Year of use and does not have stock wheels...

Looks like it was 1st owned private party and then Lexus may have Repo'd it..?

- Sold at auction in Pacific Region
- Listed as a Fleet Vehicle

Not a bad price if it was truly a CLEAN and never been damaged IS-F.

if the mileage wasnt so high, i think it wouldve been a steal. at under 40k, it had the navi, aftermarket rims (still i prefer the originals), and the only odd part is how it racked up so many miles in such a short amount of time. that being said, lexus did buy it back and then re-sold it as a part of its fleet. there are still some good deals on the 08-09 is f, especially seeing as how the '10 is f comes out in just a few weeks

I have been shopping for an IS-F, and I found one btw
Well, I saw this one 2 weeks ago and couldnt believe the price. I did some more research and this car was originally from New Mexico. It didn't seem the owner took good care of the car. It has been in the dealer for numerous problems and has been in a front end accident; front bumper, underpanels, and other parts were replaced. If the price is too good to be true, it usually is, and if the owner took off the stock wheels for those cheapo wheels then one should think twice.
