Dave ok I get it now you were first my mistake but to clarify in post #1 I did say "I believe i'm the first" and let's be real -you have carbon fiber on your lock-I have leather-two COMPLETELY DIFFERENT looks.Does it really matter who is first? Not to me,but since you come on my thread saying you did it first when you in reality have a different finish on your locks than I do then I feel I have to reply-that's all i'm gonna say about this topic...In the end all I wanted to do is share a mod with everyone on here so that if they like it they can do it to their car any by the number of PM's I have got on this topic everyone seems to agree it was a creative idea that is liked by many No hard feelings on your end I hope

You have to remove the door panels to get the job done. There are a series of clips around the bottom half of the doors..1 screw under the switchplate another behind the chrome pull handle..that's it and a clip/pin type that holds the lock piece in place whole job took my buddy 1hr It's def worth the time they look so good when your in the drivers seat with them locked best part it was a cheap mod

These look way hot homie not to bash anyone but the silver carbon fiber ones look kinda pepboyish.....the black leather ones look way hotter IMO Will these fit my 2nd gen gs?

I had it done too about a week ago but to me center part doesn't feel like a leather but like a plastic.

Joe Z here are the part #'s for the locks and red stickers:
Locks have 2 different part #'s-i'm assuming front and rear is the difference
1)69742
2)69741

Red sticker part# is
1)74531
Hope this helps

The numbers are stringed for Left & Right

You didn't happen to notice 5 more numbers in them..?
69742-xxxxx
69741-xxxxx
74531-xxxxx

Ex: 04152-51010 part number for IS-F Oil Filter

Thanks
Joe Z

Very nice and simple mod. Think design ones aren't that bad either.
