So my neighbor comes over and was like hey someone backed into your car and took off. They came back its the neighbors from across the street. Her husband is trying to say i was illegally parked in a private parking lot (dumbass he is). And arguing that its my fault his wife backed into my car (she was on the phone and was like its black i couldnt see it). Idiot!!! Feder is pushed in rim is scratched and door is mis-aligned! any ideas how much this is going to run them? Oh and the husband wanted me to use my insurance, please ill use yours to take care of what your wife did!

yeah i did but at the same time her insurance company is going to handle it (but she wants to do it under the table). I called my people and the police are on the way for a report.

The lady that hit me is trying the intimidation factor with my cousin is a cop. Guess what i dont care im a marine and know all the cops around here bc we train them!

Whatever you do, do not settle for an 'under the table' agreement. You will have no recourse against them if something were to go wrong later down the road as a result of the accident.

yeah ill have pics up tomorrow. police left and i have to call the officer when she gets back. only reason why she stopped and came back was bc she saw my neighbors outside they heard it came over and told me. then she left again. so tomorrow im going to call the police and her and get a report to cover my end.

thanks, yeah i really didnt want to have a beer tonight but i cracked bc of this. oh well football and beer. Its just disappointing that they live across the street and its a small gated community did they really think no one saw and or would say something?

that is classless of the lady and her husband. they know they were wrong, and are trying to find a way to lessen their fault in the matter. way to stay strong and not let that sorta crap take you down. sorry bout the F, but do NOT feel bad that they mite go broke cuz of this...their fault, their responsibility!

unfortunately, we live in a world of thieves and robbers. two years ago, a car in front of me backed into my front end at a stop sign. who knows what possessed him to back up at a stop sign. to make a long story short, my insurance company( california AAA) determined that it was my fault because i was behind him and common sense says the car behind hit the car in front at a stop sign. i decided to let it go and move on. it's not worth my time and money to deal with a minor traffic accident. luckily , AAA did not raise my premium. the incident was an eye opener for me about human nature.
