Stevechumo , certain domestic's hold their value quite well and others don't.
In Canada , the vette's hold their value better than japanese cars because they are in better condition - (people don't drive them in the winter) .
Another example is my 2009 cadillac CTS-V , GM was giving huge incentives on these cars several months ago so you could purchase one for $65,000.00 cdn.- loaded . If I were to trade my 09 /CTS-V in now , which is 8 months old , I would get $57,000.00 back ! I don't know of any japanese high performance car with the possible exception of a gtr that would give this high return .

^^^ In our market at least, he is bang on!
I tried very, very hard to convince my wife that we should pick up a new CTS V to go with the F.....especially since we could have got one for $5K less than the F.
(B D Hemi....not sure about fully loaded for that price....the one we were offered lacked the Recaro's and paddles for that price.) But alas, she was more interested in a new SUV than another super sedan.![Crying](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/Peace.gif)
I am still intrigued by the dilemma of the original post, as the F and Z are two completely different cars, that fill two completely different needs.
