Well, the new ceramic pads from Carbotech are on and there is literally no visible dust after a week of my normal driving. I just dropped the car off for the refinish job that Lexus offered and I will let you all know the results. I'm sure I will be washing and waxing the wheels quite often after this. Maybe Lexus will acknowledge the situation in the future and make everyone who has experienced the problem whole again. Good luck everyone!

Lexus has equipped the new '10 LS460 Sport with the ISF brakes. Apparently Lexus believes that no problem exists. As I have said, I support that belief. Our brakes are outstanding
As far as ceramic pads go. Look at post #33:

No doubt the OEM brakes do their job and do it well. I just can't live with the dust and corrosion "benefits" provided by the OEM brakes. And thanks for pointing out the post regarding ceramic pads and hot spots on the rotors and I couldn't determine which pad was put on the car. I will, no doubt, watch out for that phenomenon on my car.

To my amazement, the front wheels were done within a day. The dealer called saying that it'd be best to let the car sit overnight to allow the finish to do a better job of curing so I picked up the car this morning and am quite impressed with the job that Allow Wheel Repair Specialists did using their mobile repair facility and shortwave UV paint curing technology. They said not to wash the wheels for a week and then use only a soft sponge and a neutral soap for the first couple of washes so I will probably not drive the F to vigorously even though I've got the Carbotech pads up front. I sure hope this solves my issues as I've expended too much emotional energy over stupid wheels. Good luck to those who still seek resolution.

I just bought my car used and thought that the wheels were just caked up with brake dust. I was wrong. Both front wheels have the finish completely gone in the corners where the spokes meet the outer rim. I tried several products to clean it before I realized the finish is just gone.
This is pretty disappointing. Maybe I'll ask the dealer about it next time I'm in for service.

Hey guys if you are familiar with the gasoline used for RC cars, I have used that in the past on chrome wheels that have tar and brake dust on them and it cleaned them up very well without any damage to the wheels. Now if you really need heavy duty clean up you can use a carburetor cleaner, and that works like magic it made my wheels look like new. Some may think it sounds crazy but try it on a wheel that you don't care about and you will see how amazingly it works.

Getting wheels replaced for this problem, question: worth waxing the ENTIRE inside of the rim, since I'm not starting from scratch? Or just he exterior. Also, is there a wax for wheels?
